Monday
Today is my first preparation day in Dulce! I went with Elder Sperry to the Jicarilla Market to buy some groceries, and while we were there a random guy showed up and bought us lunch! He was super nice. Afterwards we went to this place called "Jicarilla Arts and Crafts" where they sell tons of beaded stuff and a few ceramic pots. Everything was expensive, but pretty neat. For the rest of Prep-day hours we played board games. After P-day was over we went to this family home evening thing we do every Monday. I think the point in this group is to get people who don't have any family nearby to join us and be a part of the church family for an evening. We had treats and watched gospel videos and talked about them. It took the rest of the day.
Tuesday
Just another ordinary day. We weren't able to meet with anyone, really. I ate poptarts for lunch!
Wednesday
Happy 4th of July! We visited a returning member named Mary who we helped load some fancy household items into her home, and we ate dinner at a member's home. This member let us throw knives and tomahawks at logs! I was better at the knives than the tomahawks. When we turned in, we watched some fireworks a distance away while at the church and went to bed after it was done.
Thursday
We left at around 8:30am to get to district meeting on time. I did a roleplay with the missionaries about doing stuff online. I had them video call each other from different rooms, it was fun. Afterwards, we went to Daniel's home and visited with him. He wasn't in the right state of mind, to put things nicely. The rest of the day, not much happened. We basically tried online proselyting with little success, then went to bed.
Friday
All I can remember about today is that we spent FOREVER on weekly planning.
Saturday
We left at around 9am to go to Bloomfield for our first interview with President and Sister Ackerman! They were super nice, and we mostly just talked about stuff. After our interviews were over, me and Elder Sperry went to Burger King and I thought my burger tasted funny, then I realized that this was Burger King. I guess I still don't like their chicken sandwiches. Later in the day when we were back in Dulce, we visited Elridge and talked for a while. We were hoping to see him at church but that didn't happen.
Sunday
We went to church! Church starts at 10:30am (I can't remember if I told you that or not) and we had almost double the amount of people at church today than last week. The senior missionaries visited us and stayed for sacrament meeting and sunday school. They gave us food!

After church, we spent a few hours working on the computers with President Pendergrass and Brother Savage (Members in the branch). We did some online proselyting while we were there and the rest of the day was spent figuring stuff out on our teaching records and doing some studies.
Hiende! (Goodbye!) Thanks for all the support!

We stay in a really tiny house next to the church, but it's nicer than I expected, especially the bathroom! Remember the low pressure water in Mancos? It's the exact opposite here in Mancos. The shower shoots water like a fire hose and it never runs out of hot water! Honestly, I think the bathroom is the best part of our home. The shower is CRAZY!
I ate a pizza a few days ago, but other than that I haven't been eating pizza all that much.
I cook eggs and sausages, mostly.
