This week went by pretty slowly, but we definitely found some new people to teach! One in particular we found yesterday in the afternoon/evening time. I was talking about going to the teacher housing, so we went up there and I was like, "Let's try this one." So we did! And we found a super elect lady who has been looking for a church to go to! She cried like 3 times during our lesson and when we were done she said she wanted to meet with us at a nearby member's home, who she happened to be friends with! We are definitely looking forward to meeting with her again.

We went to a funeral on Friday also. It was strange, participating in a traditional funeral. They had us drive through cedar smoke to ward off evil spirits, and back at the house where they had the food, we washed our hands in cedar water, whatever that is. We each were the only ones who said anything at the funeral. Elder Hansen said a few words along with dedicating the grave, and I gave the opening prayer. We knew the man that died a little bit, his name's Tom. He only spoke Navajo, so we couldn't understand or teach him. He was a good man.

We also, miraculously, got into another man's home named Piper. He's an interesting person. He church hops on Sunday and used to ride his donkey to church. He doesn't seem too open to making any changes anytime soon, but he sure was glad to have a discussion about the pre mortal life with us! He really knows the bible well.

That's about it. Adios!

Cleaning the truck at a member's home. He has a power washer!

Some flowers I spotted at the house after the funeral services. They almost look fake!

------------------------------------------

We had a roping activity in Joseph City, but it got cancelled because of the rain. So now we have nothing but shopping and cleaning.

Alice couldn't go North because of the traditions, so she couldn't give us a ride back to Sanders. We got a ride from a couple of Mexicans 🌮.  Alice found them at the funeral and got them to give us the ride. The grave for Alice's dad was basically a mound of dirt with a lot of plastic flowers, a cross and a little plaque with his name on it.

 Messaging in the church.

 Elder Dittmer's phone screen.

We are at brother Shearman's house. He has a lot of board games. We finished our game of Life. I got the same family I have now 😀

Elder Dittmer hasn't lost his personality.

We're at Pizza Edge. We eat for FREEEEE. I got a subway styled sandwich this time. I like their sandwiches.
