We camped outside of Chaco Canyon. It was fun to search for pottery "sherds" which were scattered all over. It was one of the best places I've ever camped, no dogs, no noise. Peaceful.
Isaac liked to buy beads at this store in Gallup.
The local Walmart had nice Navajo greetings.

Zuni
The Zuni people bake bread in outside ovens.

There is one place to stay in Zuni. And I highly recommend it.
There is Zuni art on about every item and the full service breakfast was amazing.

It was indiginous day at the elementary school. I had to do some convincing to go, but it was so amazing to see the kids decked out in their clothes and turquoise. I was too nervous to take photos.
